Course Director: Allan H. Ropper
Offered by: Brigham and Women's Hospital Department of Neurology
Earn up to 16.50 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits(tm)
This is a concentrated course in Neurological and Neurosurgical Intensive Care that assumes knowledge in critical care and neurological diseases. It brings participants to a high level of current practice by focusing on specific issues related to the management of each of the main neuro-ICU diseases (cerebral hemorrhage, stroke, head and spine trauma, status epilepticus, etc.). Topics have been chosen and the talks have been designed to both update the fields and give a critical analysis of the existing evidence base.
All of the speakers have extensive experience in neuro-critical care.
The last half-day of the course is committed to a hands-on practical workshop in Neuro-ICU techniques that is supervised by faculty. This will be an elective component and is LIMITED TO 25 PARTICIPANTS.
Please forward this email to a friend or colleague who might benefit by attending.
We look forward to seeing you in May.
